We always love to get the details of how professional makeup artists make the magic and here Francie divulges all!

I always start with eyes in case of any fallout from the eyeshadows. I always prime the eyes using concealer. I tight line the eye with pencil eyeliner if I’m doing eyeliner on the lip lid just for the appearance of fuller lashes (also there is no visual separation if you darken it. ) I put a soft wash of brown in the crease and finished it off with a cream champagne eyeshadow on the lid. For foundation I always prefer using a beauty blender for the smoothest application. After foundation and concealer, I add cream contour and then used a liquid lipstick as blush.

Liquid lipsticks can have multiple purposes and are great for a long wearing blush. I set under the eyes with Laura Mercier and also set the face lightly mostly focusing on the T-zone. After finishing the complexion, I like to use fix + by Mac to bring some hydration back to the skin and make it look more skin-like. I add a little bit of highlighter to the high points of the face. Lastly I add lipstick, liner and gloss and then always set with setting spray.
