Moving purposely, the former model, still the consummate professional, glides into the studio on time, as she does so, the sun shines from behind highlighting her golden hair. The warmth of the day comes in with a smile that takes your breath away. Maneuvering across the room she puts down her large leather bag, as her right arm craddles Wally, an itty bitty chihuahua that is one of her many rescues. Vikki loves animals and devotes time working with rescued dogs. Also as an avid horse rider, she enjoys time on the road attending horse camps and riding the trails less traveled in Northern BC.

Modeling commenced for Vikki at an early age and with the exposure to photography, she herself became a keen photographer. Working with horses and their owners is her passion. Her images capture beautiful moments of the innate bond held between a horse and it’s owner. Natural lighting in natural settings are the hallmarks of her work.

Between hair touchups and getting “the shot” we laugh, sip tea and take Wally for a walk around the studio. Modeling, fashion, photography and animals are dear to the heart of this amazing, kind and beautiful woman.

“Modeling gave me an opportunity to travel the world. Photography gives me a creative outlet to express my love of horses and people”
